Our lakeside meadow
Our spacious sunbathing lawn is surrounded by greenery, right on the shore of Lake Weissensee. Whether under shady trees, on sun loungers or picnicking on the grass – everyone will find their favorite spot here. Children love the large meadow for running around, adults love the peace and quiet for reading, sunbathing or chatting over a cool Aperol.
And when the day slowly comes to rest:
As soon as the sun goes down, solar lights bathe the Seewiese in a soft light – perfect for an atmospheric end to the day by the water. And if it rains? Then simply make yourself comfortable under the roof of the boathouse – with a view of the lake and a good book in your hand.
TIP from Claudia: Particularly magical: swimming in the mist at sunrise. When the lake is still, the mist slowly rises and the first rays of sunlight glisten through the water – a moment you won’t forget.
Our two wooden jetties reach directly into the lake. One of them is reserved for fishermen, while the other is open to all guests for sunbathing, reading, diving in and recharging their batteries. It is easy to get into the water via the jetties – ideal for a leisurely entry or a courageous plunge. If you prefer, you can take a lounger, a reading chair or make yourself comfortable on the wooden benches.
By the way: Lake Weissensee offers water temperatures of up to 26 °C and drinking water quality.
